FAQ

FAQ

1. Before your appointment

Do I need a consultation before treatment?

Yes, a consultation is required before every treatment. If you're unsure what you need, a consultation is the best place to start.

I'm not sure which treatment I need. Can you help?

Absolutely. We'll discuss your skin, concerns and goals, and I'll recommend what I feel is right for you.

What happens during consultation?

We'll discuss your health, skin, skincare and concerns, followed by a skin assessment and personalised recommendations. A full skin scan is available for additional €50.

Can I have a consultation without committing to a treatment?

Yes of course. There is no pressure to book a treatment.

2. Treatments

What treatments do you offer?

I currently offer: SkinPen microneedling, NCTF 135 HA, Polynucleotides, Chemical Peels, Dermalux LED. Treatments can also be combined when appropriate to create a personalised plan.

How many treatments do I need?

Usually a course of min. 3 treatments I recommend for best results, however this depends on your skin and the treatment itself.

Is there downtime?

My treatments have minimal downtime, especially when you follow the recommended aftercare. I'll explain what to expect and give you clear aftercare advice before you leave.

Can I have treatments if I have sensitive skin?

Possibly. Your skin will be assessed first to make sure the treatment is suitable.

3. Skincare

Do you recommend skincare?

Yes. Good skincare is an important part of healthy skin and supporting professional treatments.

I stock the full Elementre Dermocosmetics range, available to purchase in clinic. It's a simple and  affordable.

But I'm not here to push products. If you already have a skincare brand that you love, that's absolutely fine with me. I'll work with what you're already using where possible, as long as your routine is simple and your skin is getting what it needs.

You don't need a 10 step routine. You need the right products for your skin.

4. Injectable skin treatments

Do you offer injectable skin treatments?

Yes. i offer NCTF 135 HA and polynucleotides treatments, focused on supporting skin quality, hydration and rejuvenation.

I'm scared of needles. Is injectable treatment painful?

There can be some discomfort during injectable treatment, but most of my patients find it very tolerable. I use the NanoSoft needle to help make the treatment more comfortable, and numbing cream is also an option.

I'll always take my time, explain what I'm doing and make sure you feel comfortable throughout your treatment.

5. Booking & Cancellation

How much is a consultation?

Skin Consultation - €30.

Consultation with Full Skin Analysis with skin scan - €80.

Both are paid in advance. If you attend your treatment or buy recommended skincare €30 is redeemable.

Is there a booking fee for treatment?

Yes. A €20 booking fee is required to secure your appointment and is redeemable against your treatment.

What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule?

I completely understand that life gets busy and sometimes plans change. Cancellations do happen. At the same time, your appointment is reserved especially for you, so please resect my time by giving as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule.
